The project collects data as basis for national statistics and reports about the organisation of emergency primary health care in Norway.

Results 2022:

  • In 2022 we registered 168 out-of-hours (OOH) services and 94 local emergency communication centres in Norway.
  • The number of out-of-hours (OOH) services has stabilized since 2020
  • There is a significant increase in the number of out-of-hours (OOH) services that have ambulances
  • The out-of-hours (OOH) services were important in the covid-19 pandemic
